University of Dundee Humanitarian Scholarship for Postgraduate Courses

University of Dundee Humanitarian Scholarship 2018 invites applications for Postgraduate courses to transform lives, locally and globally, through the creation, sharing and application of knowledge.

Anatomy / Forensic Anthropology / Forensic and Medical Art, Architecture and Urban Planning, Art and Design, Biological/Biomedical Sciences, Business (Accountancy / Economics / Finance / International Business), Civil Engineering, Community Learning and Development, Computing, Dentistry, Education, Electronic Engineering, Energy Petroleum and Mineral Law and Policy, English / Creative Writing / Film Studies, European Studies, Geography / Environmental Science, History, Languages, Law, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences, Philosophy, Physics, Politics and International Relations, Psychology, Social Work.


ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible an applicant must:
  • If you are currently in the UK - Hold the status afforded by the UK Government of 'humanitarian protection', hold full refugee status (granted by the UK Government), or have Discretionary leave to Remain on the basis of an asylum application. All of the above qualified statuses must have been granted from a date normally within 3 years from the start date of any Postgraduate programme for which you are applying. You will also need to have evidence of (where applicable) English language proficiency (IELTS or otherwise).
  • If you are currently overseas - If applying on Humanitarian grounds you must provide evidence of humanitarian protection, citizenship, and proof of residence. You will also need to have evidence of (where applicable) English language proficiency (IELTS or otherwise).
Selection of Humanitarian Scholars

Applications for Humanitarian Scholarships will be considered by a panel of university staff where the university reserves the right of discretion with regards to the disbursement of each humanitarian scholarship being offered.

Applications must be received no later than the 31st March 2018 for September 2018 entry. Applicants for a Scholarship will be informed of the panel decision no later than the end of June 2018.

At this point we will send you details of how to apply, the application form and information on where to return your application. No applications will be considered without evidence.
